Sitting in front of the crystal glass with the laser shining through it I hit the DMT with a vaporizer electronic coil for use of concentrate THC wax I smoked it and then when I held it in as I was looking at the glass it seemed to turn almost liquid and I got a strong sense of like when I was staring at it like it didn't want me to look away and I was looking and when I looked real hard I could see opaque text messages coming out of the glass towards me and with the green laser in the background I could see some of the messages which I couldn't read them all but it was overall basically you should love one another and friendship and family and help people and be good as an overall person this lasted for approximately 10 minutes.
Summary
The experiment documents a psychedelic experience where a participant under the influence of DMT observes apparent text messages emanating from a crystal goblet illuminated by a red laser. These perceived texts convey themes of love, friendship, and personal betterment.
Key Findings
- •Participant observed surreal text-like patterns under the influence of DMT.
- •Perceived messages had thematic moral content relating to love and community.
- •The phenomenon was linked to the visual activation of the crystal goblet by a 650nm laser.
- •The visual experience was immersive, lasting approximately 10 minutes.
- •The participant reported a compulsion to continue focusing on the visual effects.
Patterns Identified
Visual Patterns
- • Opaque text messages
- • Liquid glass-like transformation of crystal
- • Presence of a green laser in the background
Behavioral Patterns
- • Compulsion to maintain focus on the visual effects
- • Subjective moral interpretation of visual patterns
Technical Patterns
- • Use of a 650nm, 1mW laser
- • Projection through crystal goblet filled with water
- • 5 meter projection distance
Scientific Insights
Scientific Significance
The observation connects the COR phenomenon to experiential patterns in altered states of consciousness, suggesting that specific themes in visual patterns—such as moral or social messaging—may arise from a confluence of physiological, optical, and environmental factors during psychedelic experiences. This contributes to ongoing research on the integration of sensory input and cognition under the influence of psychedelics.
Methodological Notes
The experiment uses minimal control over setting, relying heavily on subjective participant reports. While these provide valuable phenomenological insights, lack of objective measurements or controls for other potential light sources or reflections limits the ability to generalize findings.
Recommendations
Future experiments should incorporate objective measures (e.g., recording equipment to capture visual output) and varied environmental settings to assess reproducibility. Further study could investigate the role of different wavelengths and power levels in producing or altering the observed visual phenomena.
